About Transmittals

The Transmittals section of the Project Management module will be where all project Transmittals will be managed and held. The main purpose of the Transmittal is to send various project items and notifications out via an email notification as a project record. Transmittals have a To, From, and CC list that identifies the collaborators of the Transmittal.

Transmittals have the ability to carry specific attachment files, referenced project documents, as well as some other project section items.

The Transmittals section is subject to both Project Member Permissions and Project Section Folder Access, please ensure project members have permissions assigned that allows for Transmittal collaboration to both the section and any subfolders. Additionally, Transmittals have various settings available within Project Defaults.

Transmittals have their own print and email templates. Out-of-the-box prints and email are provided and are considered the standard in the system. Organizations have the opportunity to customize these via the StratusVue Professional Services - Reporting Team. If you are interested in customizing the Transmittal PDF Prints or Email Templates, please contact support@stratusvue.com.

Transmittal Types & Overview

There are three types of transmittals within the system:

The Item Type of a standard Transmittal is not automatically populated and there are no "originating item" fields available - as the Transmittal is not being created from a different project section item.
