About the Expediting Log Report
The Expediting Log Report is the Project Report that is pulled on the data within the Expediting Logs section of the project.
This report can be located in the Project Report Module of the project:
Within the Expediting Logs Report, the paper orientation allows for 2 different versions of the report to be generated.
Portrait - Summary = Gives the summarized version of the report
Landscape - Detailed = Gives the Detailed Report that is designed to be used for linked Submittal Items.
This project report is also able to setup as a Scheduled Report.
Filters, Options, and Sorting
Filters
Expediting Logs Folder = A dropdown that is populated by the subfolders that have been created within the Expediting Logs section of the Project Management module.
By Responsible Party = A dropdown that is populated with the companies that Project Members have been assigned to Expediting Log Items as a Responsible Party.
Pending Items Date Range = The first field is a dropdown that allows for a selection of an upcoming week range that can be selected for filtering/searching. Or the date selection fields to the right can be used to enter a date range criteria on all items that are in the status of Pending.
Required On Job Date = The first field is a dropdown that allows for a selection of an upcoming week range that can be selected for filtering/searching the assigned Required On Job Date assigned to Expediting Log Items. Or the date selection fields to the right can be used to enter a date range criterion.
Due Date From Sub = The first field is a dropdown that allows for a selection of an upcoming week range that can be selected for filtering/searching the assigned Due Date from Sub assigned to Expediting Log Items. Or the date selection fields to the right can be used to enter a date range criterion.
Status = A multi-select field that allows for selection of various Expediting Log Statues (All, Pending, Linked to a Submittal Item, Approved, Closed). To select multiple, hold CTRL on the keyboard and click each with the mouse.
Type = A dropdown of Expediting Log Types that are available within Project Level List Management.
Item No = A text entry field that can be used to search/filter for an Expediting Log Item Number, or parts of the number.
Item Description = A text entry field that can be used to search/filter for an Expediting Log Item Descriptions, or parts of a Description.
Options
Show Details = When selected, the print of the report will include all of the details about the Expediting Log Items within the print.
Show Open = When selected, the report will be filtered for all Expediting Log Items in all statuses that are not closed. (This is a default report setting)
Show Sent = When selected, the report will be filtered for all Expediting Log Items that have been sent using the manual email send.
Show Overdue = When selected, the report will be filtered for only Expediting Log Items that are overdue
Show Early = When selected, the report will be filtered for Expediting Log Items that were received early.
Sorting
The sorting options at the bottom of the Expediting Log Report allows users to control the order in which the information is sorted on the print of the report. The eight sorting options are: None, Item Number, Description, Division, CSI, Assigned To, ROJ Date, Date Due from Sub. The arrows to the right are to toggle the sort between ascending and descending.
Once filters and sorting have been applied, using the Run button will run the filters on the project data and return results for viewing.
Viewing the Results
Once the filters, reporting options, and/or sorting are entered, using the Run button will apply the entered filters and sorting to the available information held within the Expediting Logs section of the Project Management Module. The Expediting Log Report Preview grid will update to show the results based on the entered filter criteria.
The filtered report can also be printed to a PDF by using the Print icon in the top ribbon.
A copy of the filtered report that was generated using Print can also be sent out via a Project Transmittal by using the Transmit button in the top ribbon and completing the Transmittal.
The Expediting Log Report data can also be exported to a .csv file.
