About Scheduled Reports

The My Dashboards Section's Scheduled Reports feature allows Project Members to setup filtered Project Reports to be sent out on an assigned schedule as PDF's.

Create a Scheduled Report

Project Member Permissions to the Project Report are required to setup a scheduled report.

 

1.Select the My Dashboards section on the Navigation Tree

 

2. In the Saved Scheduled grid, select New Schedule

 

3. In the Report Criteria page, select the Project and Section the Scheduled Report is being created for and select the Next >> button


4. Apply the filters and sorting that will be used to pull the report that is being scheduled. Please note that the Filter screen that users land will be dependent upon the section that was selected in the Report Criteria page in Step #3. It will be the Project Level Report Filter Screen for the selected section. 


5. Select Run at the bottom to apply the filters and sorting to the report data. 

The filtered report PDF can be previewed by using the "Print" button in the top ribbon.

7. Set the schedule for the automated scheduled report

Report Sending Time = Two dropdowns that allow for selection of the time of day for the automated report to run. Please note that all StratusVue website scheduled reports are in CST. 


Recurrence Pattern = Allows for selection from 3 different patterns: Daily, Weekly, Monthly

Daily: The daily pattern allows users to set the report to run every x number of days or every weekday

Weekly: The weekly pattern allows users to set the report to run every x number of weeks on specific days of the week. 

Monthly: The monthly pattern allows users to set the report up to run on a specific date 

Range of Recurrence = Allows for the Start and End Date for the automated scheduled report to be entered. If no end date needs to be entered, then the No End Date checkbox needs to be used. The report will not be generated as scheduled if an option for End Date is not input (an end date, or select the No End Date checkbox)


8. Assign the recipients of the automated scheduled report from the Project Members list to the right. Select the checkbox for the desired Project Member recipients and use the Add Selected Project Members button. 

The Project Members will be added to the Recipients grid. 

The creator of the report will automatically receive a copy of the scheduled report by default and does not need to be listed as a recipient.


9. Select Save


Edit an Existing Scheduled Report

Once a Scheduled Report has been created, the filters that were applied for that report cannot be modified, only the Schedule and Recipients can be modifiedIf updated filters are needed, you will need to delete the current scheduled report and generate a new one.


1. In the Saved Schedules grid of the user that created the automated scheduled report, select the report. 


2. Complete the desired updates to the schedule and/or Recipients and select Save

Note: to remove recipients, select them in the recipients grid and use Delete in the top ribbon. 


Delete a Scheduled Report

1. In the Saved Schedules grid of the user that created the automated scheduled report, select the checkbox for the report to delete


2. Select the Delete Selected Schedule Button
