About the Bid Packages Report

The Bid Package Report at the Project Level is a report that is pulled on the Bid Packages section of the Document Module. This report is designed to give an overview of the bid packages, their bidders, and their bidder's bid intentions. 


This report can be located in the Project Report Module of the project:


This report is only available to customers with an active Bid Management subscription. 


Filters & Sorting


Paper Orientation = This dropdown determines which version of the Bid Packages Report that will be run. Portrait - Summary provides the Call Sheet when the Bid Package Report is printed to PDF. Landscape - Detail provides the detailed Bid Package Report when printed to PDF. Examples of the out-of-the-box report prints are available in the Out-of-the-Box Print Example PDF's section of this article.


Bid Package Folder = A dropdown populated the subfolders created within the Bid Packages section to allow for pulling the report on Bid Packages held within a specific folder.


Bidder Package Number = A text field to search/filter by a specific Bid Package number, or parts of a number.


Status = Selectable checkboxes to filter the bidders of the bid package based on bidder intentions.


Bid Received = A set of radial selection options that allow for a filter of bidders based on their Bid Received checkmark within the Bid Package. Reminder: The Bid Received checkmark is a manual input field that can be used to capture when a proposal has been provided by the bidder. 


Print Notes = When selected, includes any notes that have been captured for bidders within the Bid Package


Print Subcontractor Notes = When selected, includes any notes that have been captured in the Bidder's Reply to Bid form. 


Show Qualification Data = When Qualifications for a Bidder's Company Profile are captured, that information can be included to the Bid Package Report Prints. 


The Sorting Options at the bottom of the Bid Packages Report allows users to control the order in which the information is sorted on the Print of the Bid Package Report. The three sorting options are: CSI, Company, and Bid Status. The arrows to the right are to toggle the sort between ascending and descending.


Once filters and sorting have been applied, using the Run button will run the filters on the project data and return results for viewing. 


Viewing the Results

Once the filters are entered, use the refresh button to apply the filters, options, and sorting to the available project information. The Bid Package Report Preview Grid will populate with the results based off of the filter criteria entered. 

In addition to the results preview grid, the Bid Package Report can also be "printed" to a PDF by using the Print icon in the top ribbon. Examples of the out-of-the-box report prints are available in the Out-of-the-Box Print Example PDF's section of this article.

A copy of the PDF file can also be transmitted out via a project Transmittal by utilizing the Transmit button in the top ribbon and completing the Transmittal

The data within the Bid Packages Report results can also be exported to both .csv and .xls files

Out-of-the-Box Print Example PDFs

If the standard, out-of-the-box print of the report does not meet an organization's need, there is the opportunity to customize any print or report via our Professional Services Group.
