About Returning Submittal Items Within a Submittal Package

Submittal Items within a Submittal Package can be returned in a few different ways within the System. This article is about completing the return from within the Submittal Package itself. Please note, Submittal Section Permissions must be set in order for this process to be completed.

Return Submittal Items

1. Navigate to the Submittal Package that contains the Submittal Item(s) being returned. This can be done by navigating into the Submittal Section of the Project Management Module, or by using the link into the package from The Submittal Transmittal


2. Once within the Package, scroll to the bottom to upload any returning attachments.by dragging and dropping into the box or using Browse file(s) and using Upload File(s)


3. Once the files are uploaded, select the checkbox to the left of the attachment within the Attached Documents grid and select the item(s) within the Submittal Items grid as shown in the below:

4. In the top ribbon, select the Return From Review button

4. Enter the date(s) returned for each item being returned from review (the green arrow button the right can be used to copy the input date down to any other submittal items)

5. Select the appropriate status for each Submittal Item(s) from the Status dropdown (the green arrow button the right can be used to copy the status to any other submittal items)

Note: Returning notes can also be included for the item in the box available under each item

 

6. Select Save & Transmit Package one all information has been completed.

IMPORTANT: Using Save & Close will NOT generate a notification back to the submitting party. Reviewers MUST use Save & Transmit package to generate a Submittal Transmittal. 

8. Complete the returning Submittal Transmittal

 

9. Select Transmit
