About Transmittal Numbers
Transmittal numbers utilize an AutoNumber system that assigns transmittal numbers starting with 000001. Transmittal numbers are required to be unique per section/subfolder - this means that 000001 can only be used once in the main root section or within a subfolder.
In order to edit a Transmittal number, users must be an Admin: Project Admin, Org Admin, or System Admin.Change a Transmittal Number
As an Admin user:
1. Navigate to the Transmittal that the number is being modified
2. Select it in the Transmittals grid to open it
3. Use the Edit button to the right of the Transmittal number
4. Enter the new Transmittal number
5. Select Update
