About Linking Existing Submittals Items Back to Existing
Expediting Log Items
If a Project is utilizing the link between Expediting Logs and Submittals, it is possible to create the link even if the Submittal Item was not created from an Expediting Log Item.
Please note, the Expediting Log Item must exist within the Expediting Logs section for this work.
Link Back Submittal Items
1. Navigate to the Submittal Package where the Submittal Item that is being linked back resides.
2. Select the Submittal Item in the Submittal Items Grid
3. Select the Expediting Link button in the Submittal Item Processing Options Toolbar
4. In the pop-up, navigate to the Expediting Log that contains the Expediting Log the Submittal Item should be linked to and open it .
5. Locate the Expediting Log Item within the grid (full expanded) and select it
6. In the top ribbon, select Link Back
7. Select Ok in the confirmation to close the pop-up window.
