About Document Revisions
Project Documents that reside within the Document Module sections of: Plans, Specs, General & Photo, or Closeout Documents, can have new versions of the document inserted. The system will maintain all previous versions of that document within the Edit Document Details of the document.
Updates made to the documents during the revision process will be available in the grids and via The Documents Report. The Documents Report can also be used to retrieve a historical document log that shows all versions of that project document.
In order to revise files, Project Members must have the permission to Edit/Modify on the applicable document module section subfolder that the document(s) reside.
Single Document Revision
This method can be used when only a single file within a document module section needs to be revised
1. Navigate to the document module section and location that the document being revised is located
2. Select the checkbox for the file that is being revised and use the Revise button in the top ribbon
3. In the next screen, the document information can be updated, and the new file selected by using the Browse button to locate the file locally on the computer for upload
4. Select Update at the bottom.
The screen will refresh back to the grid where the document is saved. The updated information about this document will be available within the grid. When users download the document file, the latest version of the file will be downloaded.
Clicking on the document number (left most column of grid) will open the Document Details.
From here, all versions of the file are available for downloading and viewing.

This method can be used to slipsheet multiple revisions into multiple documents. When slipsheeting in multiple files, it is recommended to batch the updates based on the date (each revision upload would all be tied to the same date as the date is something that is assigned to the batch that is being inserted)
1. Navigate to the document module section and location that the documents being revised are located
2. Select the checkboxes for the files that are being revised and use the Revise button in the top ribbon
3. In the next screen, you will be asked to upload the same number of files as were selected for revision. Drag and Drop the files, or select Add More Files to browse for the new files on the local computer
5. Update the document information and map the appropriate file to the document number
6. Select Save
The screen will refresh back to the grid where the documents are saved. The updated information about these documents will be available within the grid. When users download the document files, the latest version of the file will be downloaded
Clicking on a document number (the far left column of the grid) will open the Document Details.
From here, all versions of the file are available for downloading and viewing
