About Cost Change Event Pending Types Included in Forecasting

Within the Organization Project Options section of the Organization Setup Module, Organizations are able to define which Cost Change Event Types are included into the Pending Columns within the project Forecast section for both Contract Cost Events and Commitment Change Events.

It is important to understand that this setting only affects Forecast Worksheets and the Forecast's Forecast Summary Tab pending values.

Please note that only Events that are available, or turned on, for an organization can be selected from. Please refer to Cost Change Event Type for more information regarding the available Cost Event Types.

This can only by updated by an Organization Admin.

Defining the Change Event Pending Types Included Forecasts

Contract Events

1. Navigate to the Org Project Options section of the Organization Setup Module within the Navigation Tree

2. In the third tab of the Org Project Options Page is the Cost Event Pending Types tab

3. Select or De-Select the Contract Event Types that the Pending Value should be included into the Forecast's - Estimate: All Pending Changes Column. Please note that Change Orders are mandatory.

4. Select Save Types

Commitment Events

1. Navigate to the Org Project Options section of the Organization Setup Module within the Navigation Tree

2. In the third tab of the Org Project Options Page is the Cost Event Pending Types tab

3. Select or De-Select the Commitment Event Types that the Pending Value should be included into the Forecast's - Costs: Pending Commitment Changes column. Please note that Change Orders are mandatory.
