What is Vendor Watch?
Vendor Watch is a feature that can be turned on for use to flag Organizations within User Companies as a watched vendor. When an organization is flagged as a “Watched Vendor” all users associated to that organization will be shown in a red color within Project Members and Bid Packages.
At this time, Vendor Watch can only be enabled by System Admins. Additionally, the permission of Manage Organizations will be required to toggle a user company organization’s vendor watch flag.
Setting Up Vendor Watch (System Admins Only)
1. Navigate to User Companies and search the Site Member Organization that Vendor watch is being enabled for.
(The Organization must be a Site Member Organization and show on the Navigation Tree in order to enable vendor watch)
2. Select the blue edit icon to open the Edit Organization page.
3. Within the Organization Settings section, select the Enable Vendor Watch checkbox.
4. Select Save
Toggling a User Company on the Vendor Watch List (Manage Organizations Site Permission Only)
1. Navigate to User Companies within User Administration and search for the Organization that vendor watch is being updated.
2. Select the blue edit icon.
3. Select the “Trigger Vendor Watch” checkbox to flag the Organization as a watched vendor. Or deselect the checkbox to unflag the Organization as a watched vendor.
4. Select Save
