About Contract Cost Event Types

There are multiple different Contract Cost Event Types that are available within the StratusVue Platform website. The Contract Event Types that are turned on for the project's Organization will be defined within the Organizations Setup > Org Project Options and will be the types shown when navigating into the Project's Contract Events section.

Each Contract Cost Event type has its own print, and a standard print of each is provided out-of-the-box. Please note that the print that is produced can be customized for an organization at any time via the StratusVue Professional Services - Custom Reporting Team. Standard Contract Cost Event Types

These are the Contract Cost Event Types that are turned on for all organization's out-of-the-box. Additional Contract Cost Event Types are available. Please contact your Organization Admin or support@stratusvue.com to learn more.

Potential Change Order

The Potential Change Order (PCO) is not required for use. Project Members have the ability to Create a PCO from Project Management items like RFI's and Issues.

PCOs can be processed into Change Order Requests or Change Orders (Processing Contract Events)

Change Order Request

The Change Order Request (COR) is not required for use.

COR's can be processed into Change Orders (Processing Contract Events)

Change Order

Change Orders (COs) cannot be processed. This is the final tier document.

For Sage 300 Integrations, the only Cost Event Type that effects both the Contract and Estimate that can be released to accounting for synchronization with Sage 300 Requirements for Contract Event Synchronization with Sage 300

Internal Event

Internal Events (ICOs) only affect the estimate. Internal Events do not change the Contract Info (SOV) of the project. Typically ICOs are used to move money between cost codes in the estimate. Defining an Internal Change Event (ICO)

For Sage 300 Integrations, Internal Events can be synchronized with the integrated Sage 300 platform.
