Understanding the Pencil Draw Email Notification
The Pencil Draw email is simple and allows for the recipient to access the Contract Pencil Draw in the system through the "Go to Pencil Draw in System" link
Collaborating on a Contract Pencil Draw
1. Select the "Go to Pencil Draw in System" link from the email notification
2. Enter login credentials (if applicable) and select Login
Once the Contract Pencil Draw is loaded, users will see the complete list of the Contract Pencil Draw Item Summary Grid.
4. By selecting the blue Edit button to open a Contract Pencil Draw line item, the requested values can be updated for each Contract Item
5. While in the edit screen of the Contract Pencil Draw line item, the Reviewer should also update the status of the item in the Status - Reviewer column
There are 3 available statuses:
Initial (the default status assigned to the item when it is created)
Revised
Final
6. Use the checkmark in the left Edit column to Save changes
Note: To Cancel changes and leave the edit screen of the Contract Item without saving, use the X in the edit column
7. Repeat for each Contract Item
8. Once each item has been updated, select Transmit . The Pencil Draw will be returned to the listed GC-PM
