Authenticator App Options
In addition to receiving the code to a cell phone or email, Users required to use Two Factor Authentication to login to their StratusVue collaboration website have the ability to utilize an authenticator app. Currently StratusVue Supports:
Google Authenticator
Setup
1. Login to the applicable StratusVue website
2. Select My Profile (top right)
3. Navigate to the Password & Authentication Tab
This is to show the QR code for scanning from the app!
4. Select Send Code to authenticator App setting
5. Select Save Settings
6. Open the Google Authenticator App on your device
7. Select the plus to the bottom right to Add a new Account
8. Select either Scan a QR Code or Enter a Setup Key
- Scan a QR code will open the device's camera, scan the QR code shown in the Password & Authentication Tab in your StratusVue Solution website (see screenshot above)
- Enter a Setup key will open the Enter account details screen. In this screen, manually assign an account name and enter the Manual Entry Code shown in the Password & Authentication Tab in your StratusVue Solution website (see screenshot above)
9. Authenticator App will confirm the account has been added successfully.
Login
1. Navigate to the applicable StratusVue website
2. Enter Username and Password
3. Select Login
4. Open your Google Authenticator App
5. Locate your StratusVue Solution Account from the Account List
6. Enter the one-time password code shown on the device into the website solution pop-up
7. Select Proceed in the pop-up
In the event that the authenticator app is not available, using the Send Code to Email checkbox in the Two Factor Authentication pop-up will send a one-time access code to the User Profile's listed email address.
Microsoft Authenticator
Setup
1. Login to the applicable StratusVue website
2. Select My Profile (top right)
3. Navigate to the Password & Authentication Tab
This is to show the QR code for scanning from the app!
4. Select Send Code to authenticator App setting
5. Select Save Settings
6. Open the Microsoft Authenticator App on your device
7. Select the 3 dots to the top right
8. Select Add Account
9. Select Other account
Users will need to allow access to the authenticator app to the devices camera.
10. Either Scan a QR Code or Enter a Setup Key
- Scan the QR code shown in the Password & Authentication Tab in your StratusVue Solution website (see screenshot above)
- Enter the Manual Entry Code shown in the Password & Authentication Tab in your StratusVue Solution website (see screenshot above)
11. Authenticator App will confirm the account has been added successfully.
Logging In
1. Navigate to the applicable StratusVue website
2. Enter Username and Password
3. Select Login
4. Open your Microsoft Authenticator App
5. Select your StratusVue Account from the Account List
6. Enter the one-time password code shown on the device into the website solution pop-up
7. Select Proceed in the pop-up
In the event that the authenticator app is not available, using the Send Code to Email checkbox in the Two Factor Authentication pop-up will send a one-time access code to the User Profile's listed email address
Duo Authenticator App
Setup
1. Login to the applicable StratusVue website
2. Select My Profile (top right)
3. Navigate to the Password & Authentication Tab
This is to show the QR code for scanning from the app!
4. Select Send Code to authenticator App setting
5. Select Save Settings
6. Open the Duo Authenticator App
7. Select the plus to the top right to add a new account
8. Scan the QR Code shown in the Two Factor Authentication section with the devices camera
Please note, the code can be entered manually into the authenticator app using the Manual Entry Code located under the QR code within My Profile by selecting the blue No Barcode? Button and select Duo Security Enabled Account
9. Select the checkmark to the top right to Save
10. The authenticator app will confirm the account has been added.
Logging In
1. Navigate to the applicable StratusVue website
2. Enter Username and Password
3. Select Login
4. Open your Duo Authenticator App
5. Select your StratusVue Solution Account from the Account List
6. Enter the one-time passcode
7. Select Proceed in the pop-up
In the event that the authenticator app is not available, using the Send Code to Email checkbox in the Two Factor Authentication pop-up will send a one-time access code to the User Profile's listed email address
